Back in Oregon! We’re stopping at Seaside for a few days before heading back home (also for a few days).

We got here just in time for a big storm. It was pretty exciting and the big gusts of wind kept the trailer swaying for a few hours. Before the rain and wind really got going, we went to Ecola State Park and took some pictures of the incoming storm. The day after the storm we ventured out and took a trip up to Astoria to see the Columbia River Maritime Museum. After that, we stopped at Fort Clatsop and got to see the recently built replica of the Lewis and Clark fort (the original replica burned down a couple of years ago). We also walked down to the river to see the exact spot where Lewis and Clark first landed their canoe in Oregon. We would have taken a picture, but the sun went behind a cloud and it started to hail. Yay-welcome back to Oregon!
