Red Rock Canyon is to the west of the city- Valley of Fire is to the east. Not to start an East side, West side thang, but we were kind of glad that we didn’t visit the Valley of Fire before we visited Red Rock Canyon because, honestly, the Valley of Fire kicks Red Rock Canyon’s butt. Oh ya, that’s right, we said it.

This was by far our favorite place since we got here. How is it that this place exists right outside of Vegas and we’ve never been here before? How did we not know about this? We continue to be amazed at how we continue to be amazed at the amazing sights we’re seeing- or something like that. Okay, maybe that’s enough of the slushy drinks.
