There were lots of critters on the ~20 acre property, such as this ~4 foot cow snake. In the evening we saw our first lightning bugs high in the trees above. Ron told us about the rare but perfect setting when there are glow worms on the ground, lightning bugs in the trees and stars in the sky. Must be quite the sight, hope we can make it back one day to see it ourselves!
