A view of Jackson Glacier, still mostly covered in snow. Global climate warming is definitely impacting Glacier NP. Of the estimated 150 glaciers present in 1850, only 26 remain. They say that by 2030 all the glaciers will be gone which will have a detrimental effect on all vegetation and animals in the area.
