Stalactites dangle from the ceiling. Note the broken ones near the top of the picture. These serve as reminders of the "cave wars" of the early 20th century. Since there are so many caves in this area, competition for tourism was fierce. So much that people resorted to breaking in to competing caves and vandalizing their formations. Luckily this came to a stop in the 1920s when it became a federal offense.
